EQUINOX STRATEGY PARTNERS

Greg Wildes

Director

Greg Wildes, a Partner with Equinox Strategy Partners based in New York, provides professional service firms with strategic counsel to drive revenue and increase market visibility.

For more than two decades and prior to joining Equinox Strategy Partners, Greg worked alongside law firms in business development roles at several financial services, research, and technology firms. He recently was Senior Vice President for Client Solutions and Relationship Management at Maples Fund Services (a subsidiary of the law firm Maples and Calder, a leading international law firm) where he established a New York presence. He spent 13 years as a senior business development executive with Bloomberg Financial Markets having started as one of the firm’s earliest professionals and contributed greatly to the firm’s rapid growth and success. His client responsibilities included overseeing firms such as Goldman Sachs, Nationsbanc (now BankAmerica), Societe Generale (now part of BNP), and Swiss Bank (now part of UBS) to name a few. Some of his other roles have been with companies such as Citco and Paladyne Systems that were bringing new products and services to very competitive markets, requiring an experienced professional with an understanding of building a revenue pipeline, managing existing clients, marketing, and an extensive referral network.

Greg has developed the skills and habits necessary to engage new and existing clients. He has also advised professionals and professional service firms on growing their businesses. Greg finds these skills essential in a business environment where the competition has become more aggressive and savvy about marketing and client service.

Greg has a Bachelor of Economics from Harvard University, where he played on the basketball team. He has been and member of the Harvard Club of Long Island where he interviewed candidates for admission. Additionally, he has been an active member of his local youth basketball league as a coach and referee. His wife, Loren, owns a web design and marketing business. He has four children, three of whom work in the legal industry.
